Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) Course is rapidly growing fields in computer science that are revolutionizing the way we interact with technology. AI involves creating intelligent systems that can perform tasks that typically require human-like intelligence. ML, on the other hand, is a subset of AI that involves developing algorithms and models that can learn from data and make predictions or decisions based on that learning.

Our Journey

Our exciting journey began in 2021, with a sanctioned student strength of 60. The AIML Department proudly boasts that 50% of the faculty members have either completed or are pursuing their Ph.D., guiding seven research scholars in their respective areas of expertise.

Mission

The mission of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Bidar, is to:

M1: Impart knowledge in cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence technologies in line with industrial standards.
M2: Promote innovative research and development in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and serve the needs of society through collaboration with industries and allied organizations.
M3: Produce successful engineering graduates specialized in AI/ML who uphold personal, professional, and ethical responsibilities, with a commitment to lifelong learning.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)

PSO 1: Apply concepts from core areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning — such as Data Structures, Database Systems, Operating Systems, Networking, and Intelligent Systems — to solve real-world and future-oriented problems.
